Our services currently include:
- Completing psychoeducational evaluations to determine disability eligibility under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Pennsylvania state law, in order to determine the potential need for special education services. We complete these evaluations independently for individuals and families, as well as for public schools, cyber charter schools, and private schools.
- Completing evaluations in conjunction with a licensed psychologist to identify mental health disorders such as Autism, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, etc. in accordance with the DSM-V (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition).
- Completing psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for Gifted support services based on PA state regulations.
-Completing bilingual Spanish speaking evaluations for public schools, private schools, and individual families.
- Completing educational evaluations for previously identified individuals to include updated cognitive (IQ) and achievement tests in an effort to help receive academic accommodations at Universities and Colleges nationwide. Many colleges require students identified with learning disabilities to have updated IQ and achievement tests before they will provide students with academic accommodations. Federal policies have supported many school districts' positions that they are not required to complete testing for the purpose of receiving college services. As such, it often becomes necessary to consult an outside evaluator to provide these testing results in order to receive college accommodations.
- Completing comprehensive school based neuropsychological evaluations.
- Completing disability evaluations to help determine eligibility for MHIDD services.
- Consultation services for parents, caregivers, teachers, schools, community agencies, and law professionals regarding academic interventions, programming for individuals with disabilities, special education law, and related matters.
